You know, I've come to realise something. All this relationships among people my age. It isn't LOVE. It's just plain INFATUATION.

'Ohhh... Look at that girl! She's so chio! I gonna ask for her number!'
'OMG! He's so HOT! He's melting my heart....'

I think i've touched on this before. Love at first sight? Sight. just says it all doesn't it? all sight. no soul. no character. no depth. no value. I call it apparent love. haha. You're living a lie. I quote Iddie, 'it was a farce.' read into that. A ludicrous, empty show; a mockery. all the excitement and thrill of the chase. doesn't last does it? once you've got your girl, it dies down. you are lost, you don't know what you want out of the relationship you craved for. nothing. void 'love'.

Another thing. people who jump from person to person. relationship one after the other. no. correction. infatuation one after the other. Insincere. it's simply just shows that you were just fooling around. not serious. toying with feelings? is that too harsh? the fact is, if you really really like someone, it'll hurt like crap to let go. much less find another partner in the next week.

i was just talking to mike yesterday when he told me of the cat class bbq at someone's place. hmm. i felt that cat class bbq is a rather well...if i may say, lousy tool to bond or live the mission of christ. people will just stick to people they already know. not a challenge. something that very much makes it altogether ineffective and fake is that it always loses its purpose and focus to fun. i mean fun is good! of course! but it isn't when it takes the place of the purpose. fun is subservient. a mean to an end. and if fun is the purpose, why call it a cat class bbq. no need. just go have fun yourselves. ever so often. it's our ego. our pride. boys use the bbq to show off. girls act cute. and seductive? doing stupid things, as if the opposite gender would be impressed. hah. tainted goal. again not wrong. but it always displaces the assumed meaning behind which all these ego and pride hide. and we take it all in. to an extent that we believe that it is true. that all these can bring out the faith in us. i successively find that all youth gatherings just serves to enhance our own image presented to others. again, image. superficial.

give it some thought. when you think, you grow. and the purpose comes. then everything that we do will come to have definition. spirit and heart. substance that makes it all no longer artificial but instead fulfilled.
