hahaha. My 1st piece of poetry. for submission to njc. darn hard to get inspiration.t's a gather boring topic too. "unabashedly singapore" hahha man.
well. here goes.
Of Fines and A Sterile Environment
Singapore, ever clean and green.
The government groans and cries to
Notice litter out of the bin.
We, law- abiding citizens,
Of course
Realize that it’s a blatant sin.
Thou shall not condone littering.
“A category 10 offence!”
We declare unanimously.
Apparently,
Littering isn’t all that irks.
What with $1000 fines aplenty.
It’s fines galore, in Singapore.
NO SMOKING. NO SPITTING.
NO EATING ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT.
Even fines for NOT FLUSHING!
So heed your Do’s and Don’ts my friend,
Where strict enforcement is imposed.
But hey!
This is Singapore.
Spick and span. Fines *dua tu!
Unabashedly.

well. cross country at macritchie today. 5km. shagged? 21st. hahahas. beaten by two strides. ahhaha. nevermind la the guy beat me fair and square. chionged from behind at the last 50m. beat me at the line. well done. im not being sarcastic here. really, it was my fault. shouldn't have slacked too much. didnt push enough i suppose. no buddy to run with. but not bad la. last year 23rd. free milo! probably can still get medal. if hyo seok.... yup. sam got 6th. crazy. joseph 10th. much fitter huh. well done 321. except daniel and nicholas. who were late because they went LAN-ing. ahha.
i'll not be at cat class for the second week in the row because for RME retreat this weekend. hmm...

the day the wallet fell.
my wallet met with an unfortunate incident today. i'll cut a long story short and skip the disgudting details. it FELL into the TOILET BOWL. don't ask why. don't ask how. it JUST HAPPENED. suddenly. the wallet just slipped out of my back pocket. i don't want to explain how. but just know it did. and it was damn disgusting. especially the 'retrieving' of the wallet. which was, by the way, kinda 'soaked' in erm... a yellow fluid of unsanitary, not to mention yucky origin. eeeeeeyer.
in other news. i've managed to pass all my tests so far. the remaining unreturned one being chemistry. so far...
physics. 20 over 40
e maths. 23 over 40
a maths. 20 over 40
as you can see, i'm rather lucky, with 2 scraped passes.
oh and YES. there's NO SCHOOL TOMORROW.
