'Limpid' will be touch rugby champs( if mat united werent in the way). funny team name ehh. mr nathan was bugging darren for a name while he was studying for the vocab test wordpower. so he just took the 1st word he saw from reader''s digest.

today i played really lousy. never tackled at all, much less break a leg ( forfeited my deal with iddi). we're now in the second round after the win over unity 20-5.

this is our group :
SJI
St. Andrew's School
Northbrooks
Montfort( bloody dirty players!)

todae was against montfort. we knew that they were faster, bigger, stronger than us. and they played really filthy. even if i didnt make that deal, i would have dearly wanted to kill that big buffalo. don't know how to play like a gentleman at all. tattoos plus spiked hair. PUNK. he was beating people up on the field, in front of the referee and not the least remorseful when he received a red card for punching (me).

Shane his name was. i think. and that ass of a in- centre. had the cheek to blatantly provoke us by saying ' how much did you pay the ref?'. implying that we bribed the ref! BAD LOSER!!! didnt find out who arnold was tho'. just hope he's aguy i crashed against...

but on the other hand... we are almost within reach of the top 4! just northbrooks left.....on monday. maybe can even beat St Andrew's. haha. 50-50 chance, coach said.

and yay! tomorrow going to support the canoeists in the finals. NO SCHOOL!!!(exempted). can look forward to it. by the way the score today was 37-0. we won............................like i even needed to say.

hy'all, just a quick update.............

Its been a long long week, with plenty of interesting events. One of which is our DEMOLITION of Westwood.ha.......we thrashed them 73-0. Man, i was telling myself that it wasnt true. it was simply unamazingly unbelievable! we have never won a match before the nationals! and it has been our 4th consecutive win!

well, can't get too big- headed, especially with the biggest match coming up tomorrow. SJI vs Unity Sec! the school which beat B Div 2x this year! we''re gonna take revenge! but must be realli wary. they are bigger and faster and trickier. but they are also fifteen players, whereas we're ONE team!

anyway, i'll be going for the carmelite pilgrimage tomorrow in the afternoon( haha...pon cat.class).then after that there will be a alumni dinner with gideon richard and jonathan! i'll be looking forward to that.:)

and lastly, i want to wish good luck to all having their nationals now.esp. the trackers, the canoeists, and the hockey players. good luck guys!

haha..ok as i pledge to do so. here i am updating regularly.

ok. match results.

Friday, 8 july
SJI 38-0 Bedok Town

as andy said it was quite a well-played game. in fact, i felt that it was the 'bestest' match we played so far.ha. our confidence have really risen and we're playing more like a team ( instead 0f forwards and backs). we missed our target tho, supposed to be 80-0 lah. but the refree was damn screwed up la. bloody hell anyhow award penalties against us. so many times somemore lor. zzzz.

another thing i found quite amusing and comical was that bedok town's ROUND coach was like threatening his players..hmm...i look at him also can laugh. that big red face shouting his poor lungs out.it whan something like:

coach: hey you! you better tackle and whack the guy hard or i'll go in there and kick you ar.
player( nodding dumbly): yezzir! yessir!

on another occasion.....

coach( screaming): you want me to hantham you izzit?

then there was this fantastic solo guyy from bedok, sprinting down our wing like nobody's business( everyone was mistackling), and when he thought " o man! my first try !!!", out came Jet( good old Jet that he was), banged the big guy like a small fry, leaving the poor guy in crumpled heap with an injured leg.

ha. thats for messing with us. huo gai. want to kei kiang run towards us solo....., here your prize!

yep. and yesterday i met james eugene julian joshua melvin aloysius hanbali for Renaissance XV, SJIMB's annual band concert. ha. wad a great performance. enjoyed it thoroughly.

just a quick update, i don't have much time. okay, 3rd match coming up tomorrow.SJI vs Westwood.
we have to win it. win all the matches and come up top in our group, get easier opponents the next round.

if you didn't know already, here are the results of our 1st 2 matches so far.

SJI 35-0 Juyuan

SJI 38-0 Peirce

After the westwood match, there are 2 more.

SJI vs Bedok Town

SJI vs Unity

Unity sec is a must- beat. the cause of B Div's downfall. we're gonna take revenge for B Div, who lost the 2 matches they played against them.

That's all for now. today, i'm just gonna pray for the hockey team, the judo team, the fencing team and the track & field team. =)

okay. firstly, i would like to apologize for not updating.( like i need to liddat)

NOW, for the important thing.............drumroll please..............

this morning, the legion paid a visit to the Assissi Home and Hospice. and it was quite a strong experience. the people who live in the hospice are actually terminally ill. and so the staff there try their best to help prepare the patients for death. don't get me wrong, preparing for death doesn't mean the wills and selecting the coffins and niches. it means they are living their lives to the fullest, day by day. all their dreams pushed forward to just this day.for example, there was this boy, who just wished to stay in the hotel. when he got his wish, all he did was sleep in his room. but he was so happy. AND THAT WAS ALL THAT MATTERED. he passed away 2 weeks later.

it really struck me that even children, kids like you and me, stay there. it isnt only the elderly. even kids get cancer. innocent kids as young as 4! it was this that made me think. appeciate and cherish your life, and especially your relationships. because, isnt that what our whole life is made of? despite our disagreements with our ' unreasonable' parents. despite our feuds between friends. on our deathbed, they are the people we want to see and reconcile with. so cherish them, because you will never know when the hour will come (ok that sounded cliched) . you might be here today, strong and full of energy. the next day, you could be diagnosed with cancer with only 6 months to live. its quite a scary thought. so make your life truly meaningful for others as well as for yourself.

jason shared this. he said he noticed that the old lady he was talking to seemed very happy and without complains, even though she knew she would die soon. mr ang pointed out something from ' tuesdays with morrie' that was pretty relevant to this.
' once you learn how to die, you learn how to live.you strip away all that stuff and you focus on the essentials. when you realise you are going to die, you see everything much differently'.

Think about it.You will never know what you have, until you lose it.
