i think we played well today. the backs were finally moving up fast to take their men.
i think i did well today( no missed tackles). i did my best. no regrets.
we came really close to their try line a few good times (thanks to darren and the forwards co.).
only to be forced back heart-breakingly...
then the subs came on ....
and in a game, there are only two occasions when coach will do substitution:
1) when we're 'owning' the opponents
2) when there's no chance of winning, so why not give the reserves some exposure?
so of course against the 'cream', we lost. 9-43. i think.
doesn't really matter anymore now.
it's RI I REALLY WANNA WHACK!
And on monday, at that crap pitch of farrer park's, i will have the chance to do just that.
i promise you, it will be the best match i am going to play this season.
(save the best for the last)
no way ri is going to get 3rd.
not with us in the way.
maybe its the traditional rivalry and bad blood.
or perhaps its their dirty tactics.
whatever the reason, we're going to whack them, cream them, cromb them, thrash them, etc., etc., etc.
(i still remember the time last year when one of their players kicked nabhan in the head, close to the eye.
while he was on the ground.
so, here's our warning:
BE AFRAID, BE VERY AFRAID RI......
